We have started the second half of the 2020 Summer Reading Program. How is your reading going? Don't forget to turn in your book log for a prize. Reading logs are due at your local library branch by July 25. Last week was a fun exploration of classic fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Events this week (June 29-July 3)

Week 3 of the 2020 Summer Reading Program is here. We had a blast last week with all of the unicorn-themed activities. Each branch hosted families making slime and Ms. Sandra even wore a unicorn horn for Story Time! Story Time this week will feature classic fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Events this week (June 22-26)

Week Two of the 2020 Summer Reading Program continues with more crafts and stories. We had a great time last week making dragon puppets and listening to dragon story time. Adults enjoyed making a fairy tale silhouette (and taking home a few more designs to complete later). This week will be a celebration of unicorns! Events this week (June 15-19)

Week One of the Summer Reading Program brings us plenty of fun and activities. Story Time explores dragons and attendees go home with a paper plate dragon craft. The in-library craft is Dragon Puppets. Make Toothless or other favorite dragon character. We offer socially distanced spaces for our activities, with attendees seated at least 6 feet apart. Summer Reading has arrived! This year's program runs from June 15 to July 25. Register for the reading program and win cool prizes. Plan to attend in-library events or story times. Harry Potter fans received a treat this week - a read-aloud of the entire Harry Potter series. Beginning May 7, one chapter per day will be read by a different celebrity. Start HERE with Chapter One: The Boy Who Lived, read by Daniel Radcliffe. Also find quizzes, puzzles, and reading activities on the Harry Potter at Home site.
