Week Two of the 2020 Summer Reading Program continues with more crafts and stories. We had a great time last week making dragon puppets and listening to dragon story time. Adults enjoyed making a fairy tale silhouette (and taking home a few more designs to complete later).

This week will be a celebration of unicorns! Ms. Sandra will be offering a unicorn-themed story time and each branch has spots open for Unicorn Slime. Call your local branch to register today. We also have another round of Fairy Tale Silhouettes in Cecilia and Parks on Friday.

Book Club will combine this week’s meetings; the St. Martinville and Parks groups will meet in Parks for a single discussion. We will have a casual discussion about our favorite quarantine reads and revisit Sarah’s Key (our scheduled book for March).

Looking for an activity to complete at home as a family? Grab one or two of our Take-Home Craft Kits. This week, we are offering Crown Doodle Art and Unicorn Bookmarks.

We’re thrilled to announce the premiere performance of Alice in Wonderland, a new play by Hampstead Stage Company. Watch online anytime on Wednesday, June 24. An encore performance will re-air on July 14. Watch Alice in Wonderland and Dulcimer Guy this week on the library website. Click HERE for all shows.
