We made it! It is the final week of a busy albeit different Summer Reading Program. Thank you again to everyone in our community who participated, whether that meant signing up for the reading program, taking home a Craft Kit or attending a story time. Events this week (July 13-17)
We're in the final stretch of the 2020 Summer Reading Program. Thanks to everyone in St. Martin Parish who has participated. To claim your prize for the reading program, turn in your log and Completion Prize List at your nearest branch. You can choose a Unicorn Headband, Alchemist Slime, Dragon Finger Puppet, Book Light, or many other prizes. This week, we are thrilled to offer an encore performance of Alice in Wonderland. Events this week (July 6-10)
We have started the second half of the 2020 Summer Reading Program. How is your reading going? Don't forget to turn in your book log for a prize. Reading logs are due at your local library branch by July 25. Last week was a fun exploration of classic fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Events this week (June 29-July 3)
Week 3 of the 2020 Summer Reading Program is here. We had a blast last week with all of the unicorn-themed activities. Each branch hosted families making slime and Ms. Sandra even wore a unicorn horn for Story Time! Story Time this week will feature classic fairy tales and nursery rhymes. We will also offer a dual in-library craft - Alice in Wonderland Flowers for kids and adults in the same session. Come as a family (or alone) and complete two different crafts. Events this week (June 22-26)
Week Two of the 2020 Summer Reading Program continues with more crafts and stories. We had a great time last week making dragon puppets and listening to dragon story time. Adults enjoyed making a fairy tale silhouette (and taking home a few more designs to complete later). This week will be a celebration of unicorns! Ms. Sandra will be offering a unicorn-themed story time and each branch has spots open for Unicorn Slime. Call your local branch to register today.
