Library Services available at your St. Martin Parish Library:

Computers/Internet/WiFi

Computers are available at all branches for public use of the internet and for word processing. WiFi is available at all locations and does not require a password in order to access or connect. Mobile WiFi hotspots are available for checkout to adult patrons with accounts in good standing.

Interlibrary Loan

Materials not in the library’s collection can be requested for you through the interlibrary loan service. You must have a valid library card. To make a request, please inquire at your local library.

Local History/Genealogy

Marriage, census, and death records, as well as items of local history are available. Ancestry.com, a genealogy database is available for in-house use at all branches. The Teche News is also available on microfilm. A microfilm reader-printer is available at the St. Martinville Branch Library.

Meeting Rooms

Public Meeting rooms are available at all locations of St. Martin Parish Library.  Inquire with your location of choice regarding making a reservation. Study rooms are available at the St. Martinville location, the Breaux Bridge location, and at the Cecilia location. Study rooms operate on a first-come first-serve basis.

Memorial Books

Donations are accepted for the purchase of materials in memory of, or in honor of an individual or organization. A bookplate is placed in the book and acknowledgment is sent to the donor and the person honored, or family of the deceased. Memorial donation forms can be found at all branch libraries.

Photocopy Service

$0.10 per page for black & white copies, $0.50 per page for color copies.

Fax Service

Scan 24 Self-Service Public Fax Service.  Faxes can be sent using a personal debit/credit card or by purchasing a pre-paid card from the library. We do not accept incoming faxes.

Visually Impaired

All locations offer large print books.

The Breaux Bridge library houses a Topaz Video Magnifier.  This low vision magnifier can assist with tasks such as reading fine print.

Patrons may be interested in the State Library’s Talking Books and Braille Library (TBBL) program .  This program provides free public library service to Louisiana residents of all ages who cannot easily read standard printed materials due to a permanent or temporary visual impairment, physical disability or a reading disability.
