Ebooks and Digital Audiobooks Available Free 24/7 From St. Martin Parish Library

As people increasingly read and listen to books on their smartphone or tablet, they’re discovering one of the best resources is their local public library.
St. Martin Parish residents can access a wide selection of popular digital content free with a library card from St. Martin Parish Library.
Library patrons can borrow from the digital collection by downloading Libby, the award-winning reading app from OverDrive, or by visiting https://bayouland.overdrive.com/.

The Libby app seamlessly connects readers with the library’s digital collection. Readers of all ages can select from virtually every subject ranging from mystery, romance, children’s, business and more. Readers may browse the digital collection, instantly borrow titles and start reading or listening for free with a valid library card. Through Libby, all titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and there are no late fees. Readers can also download titles onto Libby for offline use.

St. Martin Parish Library is hosting a live, virtual demonstration providing information about the Libby app. The Learning Libby with the Experts webinar is a free online event and features sessions for both new and experienced users. The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 10-11:30 AM. Want to learn Libby but can’t attend live? Sessions will be recorded and emailed to everyone registered 24 hours after the webinar. Please still register to receive this recording.
