It’s that time of year again! Time to start reading titles nominated for the State of Louisiana’s Readers’ Choice Programs.
Louisiana Young Readers’ Choice and Louisiana Teen Readers’ Choice are programs designed for students in grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Students are invited to participate by reading a minimum of 3 titles from one of the lists and then voting for their favorite title. The time to start reading is now; votes are due no later than February 1, 2016.
All nominated titles are available at your St. Martin Parish Library. Additionally, we have posted descriptive lists of titles for all categories on our Readers’ Advisory page. The lists for grades 3-5 and 6-8 are located under the heading for Juvenile Collection, and the list for grades 9-12 is located under the heading for Young Adult / Teen Collection.
As you read titles, feel free to leave a comment below sharing your thoughts or a review of the book you’ve selected to read.
