December 2024_Food for Fines Drive for St. Martin Parish Library St. Martin Parish Library Announces Food for Fines Drive This holiday season, St. Martin Parish Library is working to fight hunger by hosting a Food for Fines Drive from December 1 through December 30, 2024. The goal of the drive is to collect food, raise awareness about hunger prevention, and bring the community together. Food collection bins will be available at all St. Martin Parish Library branches. Check out a Louisiana State Park
October 2, 2024 St. Martin Parish Library is excited to offer patrons a new way to check out Louisiana. Beginning Oct. 1, patrons can check out a day pass for free admission to any Louisiana state park or historic site as part of a new program called Check Out Louisiana State Parks. The program is a partnership among St. Martin Parish Library, the State Library of Louisiana, Louisiana State Parks, and Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser. September 27, 2024 St. Martin Parish Library Partners with La. State Bar Association to Host Lawyers in Libraries Events in October. St. Martin Parish Library is pleased to announce that it is participating in the annual “Lawyers in Libraries” statewide program in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA), the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association.
