Library Association to Host Legal Advice Program on Oct. 29 The St. Martin Parish Library, in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) and the Louisiana Library Association (LLA), is presenting its second annual “Lawyers in Libraries” statewide program on Thursday, Oct. 29. Library Card Sign up Month winners announced
The month of September was “Library Card Sign up Month”. This year, a grand total of 75 students signed up for their very first library cards during September’s library card drive. Out of these 75 students, Cecilia Primary had the largest percentage of their students (5%) sign up for a library card. For this achievement, Cecilia Primary school library was awarded a $50 travelers check. In addition, student names were randomly drawn for prizes.
