Ask a Librarian

The St. Martin Parish Library's "Ask a Librarian" e-mail reference service accepts questions via e-mail as a convenience to patrons.  Using this service, patrons may submit reference questions 24/7, regardless of library hours of operation.

In response, patrons can expect to receive answers to specific questions, information about publications that can be borrowed from our collections or through inter-library loan, or direction to other sources or places that might help to answer a question.

E-mailed questions will not be answered immediately, but we will respond as quickly as possible. For time-sensitive questions, visiting a local branch library or contacting library staff by phone during normal business hours is advised. Locations, hours, and phone numbers can be found here

For general comments or suggestions regarding library services, procedures, collections, or policies, please use the "Comments/Suggestions " feature of our website. If you would like to check the status of your library card account, this information is available online using the "Review Library Record " feature of our website. If you need assistance with your PIN number, visiting a local branch or contacting library staff by phone is advised. Locations, hours, and phone numbers can be found here .
